The state setting matters
- South Australia’s usage rate of 41.9c/kWh is 52.6% higher than Victoria’s 27.5c, and every result scales with it.
- The default split-system aircon at 750 W, 6 hours a day for 90 days, costs $170 a year in SA compared with $111 in VIC.
